Vice Buddies anyone?

Been a couple of weeks since I last posted, which gave me the feeling that folks might be wondering what happened to the purported updation of the site. Couple of reasons actually:

- Folks who know are aware of my photographic equipment would know that I use film. Which is why I am finding it a bit tough to get my print negatives digitized. Not that I haven’t been able to figure out where; I haven’t been able to figure out when and how.

- All this becomes all the more unrealistic when in a bid to woo your customers, you have multiple sales directors, VPs, and Presidents in town owing to the huge brouhaha surrounding the Indian telecom market, and you are entrusted with the exercise of ensuring that all VPs and C level exec level contacts you know turn up to meet them.

But then all this is behind my back now. Everyone from out of town is either back to their towns or probably cruising airborne over towns on their ways back by now. Which means that I should in all possibility get time enough to get my scans done this weekend.

Parting note here would be that the power of vices in building up relationships doesn’t fail to amaze me…ever! I smoke so I know how easy it is to strike up a conversation with someone just over the pretext of asking for a light. Alcohol for that matter too, which was something which I mattered to witness at pretty close quarters recently. You might be meeting someone for the first time in your life, and in all possibility may never see again for the rest of whatever remains. But that one drinking session is enough to make you take back memories for a substantive duration. Which is probably why we have the notion of ‘drinking buddies’…ummm, I’ll probably never be able to figure this out owing to my teetotaller self.

Anyway, Vice Buddies anyone?

(Btw, I just happen to witness Foo Fighters doing a rendition of God Save the Queen by the Sex Pistols…cool!)
